Friday, June 06, 2008Thursday, April 24, 2008Lost : The Shape of Things to Come![]() There's a new lost episode tonight. The show has been on hiatus for over a month. The last episode aired on the 20th of March. According to Epguides.com, there are only five episodes left. It feels like this season just started. Hopefully tonight's episode will be fantastic and worth the wait. Thursday, October 25, 2007My PVR Project - The Beginning
Roger's Cable TV and Bell Satellite TV both offer PVR units with their digital television service. Their packages are price competitively and the promotional deals have almost swayed me to buy a PVR unit.
As I considering these promotional deals I was curious to see if there were any other PVR options available. To my surprise there are plenty of options available. One of the options that I found I really liked because I can use my old PC, which is sitting in storage collecting dust, as the PVR unit. Using Ubuntu, MythTV and a video capture card I can turn my PC into a PVR. Here is where my project begins. I'm creating the plan to execute this project and successfully start PVR-ing all the television shows I want to watch. My PVR Project plan:
Be sure to watch for the next "My PVR Project" entry. I'll have pictures and a lot more information to share. Friday, September 07, 2007YouTube Friday - Planet Earth

The World Series of Video Games wants to take it's world class video game tournaments and turn them into a TV series. 24hrs.ca has an article about it. Check out Gamer stereotypes dispelled. Labels: Computergames, Tournaments, TV, Videogames Wednesday, June 20, 2007Wednesday, March 21, 2007Lost : Season 3 : Episode 3-18 : Title : D.O.C![]() This episode of Lost was filled with a lot of answers and many more questions. We found out that John Lock was pushed out a window by his father and fell 8 stores onto his back. That's the reason he was in a wheelchair. The reason his father pushed him out the window was because he didn't want John to uncover any secrets about his past life as a con-man to his new rich soon-to-be wife. Also, we found out that "The Others" are using a submarine to get on and off the island. But it doesn't look like they can do that anymore because John destroyed it. The show just keeps on delivering new plots lines. I think the best part about this episode is the fact that Ben, the leader of "the others", somehow got John's father onto the island. I'm looking forward to next week episode. |
