It's Monday and that means it Health and Fitness day. Since I missed last week I'll continue this week as week 8.
Here is the updated work out routine for this week (week 8).
Monday, Wednesday and Friday I'll do the following:
* Note: All exercises are done in a superset between upper body and lower body.
For example, elevated feet push ups (upper body) and 1 legged ball squats (lower body) are one superset. Do NOT rest within the superset (between the upper body and lower body), but rest 30 seconds after the lower body before repeating the superset again. Repeat for a total of 2-3 rounds total. Proceed to the next superset.
Aim for higher reps: 15-20 reps Aim for 2-3 rounds for each superset (upper body to lower body) Again, take no more than 30 seconds rest in between.
— Elevated feet push ups — One legged ball squat — Push ups (both feet on ball) — Single leg hip extension on ball — Pull up — Wall Sit — Upright Row with band — Calf Raise — Bicep Curl — Knee Lift
I had to focus all of my energy and on the new product being developed at work. I didn't have to much free time to do anything else but work, sleep, eat and spend some quality time with my girlfriend.
Well now the hiatus is over and I will continue with regular daily posts.
It was a bit of a shocker to hear that Peter Moore left Microsoft and went to Electronic Arts. I guess Peter Moore was unhappy at Microsoft and wanted to expand his vision. The work that he did for the XBOX 360 was great. I wonder what this means for the future generations of the XBOX console.
Check out CNET for more information about Peter Moore leaving Microsoft.

i don't even care what anyone says...i can't wait for victoria beckham's coming to america. it's gonna be useless and vapid and silly and pointless and totally awesome. sadly i think it's only one hour long show but i hope there's more.
Awhile back I got a Nintendo Wii. The reason I decided to get a Wii was because I like how Nintendo has go outside of the conventional gaming experience. The overall fun factor is huge!
The one game I'm really looking forward to is the new Super Mario Galaxy. Check out this YouTube video of what the game will be like.
I have been a fan of the Smashing Pumpkins ever since my friend played me their album Gish. I grow-up listening to their albums as a teenager and I still to this day I have them in my play list because I enjoy their music that much.
That being said my view on the Smashing Pumpkins new album might be a little bias. When I heard the first single off the album, Tarantula, I was almost instantly remind of Everlasting Gaze. It's hard, heavy and has a great bridge. But there were some elements of that song that of classic Smashing Pumpkins songs. Mainly the bridge because the always use a bridge to break into slower part the song.
Doomsday Clock was the next song that I hear. It was interesting because I had just finished watching the Transformers live action movie and the song came on during the credits. It's another solid rock anthem that I could sing along to.
It seems to me that artists these days are writing and preforming their songs with a purpose. One other artist that comes to mind is Nine Inch Nails. The release of Zero Year was quite political. In my opinion the Smashing Pumpkins have release a political record but they do it with a bit style and class. Billy has become aware of the world around him and his place in it and he wanted to put some of that down on paper. Which he has done perfectly.
Even though it's been seven years Zeitgeist was worth the wait. If you're a fan of the Smashing Pumpkins then this album is worth buying.
This article from internetnews.com is talking about the release of FireFox 3 alpha release 6.
It seems like just last week I was talking about the release of FireFox 2.
Anyway, Be sure to read up on the new features that will be in the public release. If you're feeling brave then maybe you want to try the alpha release here.
Every web designer, web developer and web monkey needs to keep their skill updated. Some of us are lucky enough to have a good job that pay for classes, courses and seminars that will improve our skill or better yet teach us new skills. Others have to try and keep themselves a float by teaching themselves the new tricks of the trade.
Here are a few resource that may help you when you're building a new web site or add some extra functionality to your web applications.
I'll be completely honest with you and say that I integrate almost all of the sites I create with the Google Search API. It's fast, effective and Google has been doing this for years so you might as well use their technology. Also, the APIs they have up there are fun to play with and can be very useful.
I haven't used any of these libraries yet. So I can't give you much input. But I'm sure Yahoo! has plenty of tricks to show you. Plus I hear the AutoComplete is really cool.
Here's a new way to add some flavor to your chicken. Lightly breaded Garlic Chicken. The Parmesan cheese, garlic and olive oil are a great way to lots of tasty to your chicken.
By baking the chicken you cut down on the calories that you would normally have if you fried the chicken and then baked it.
Now all you have to do is add in a light Caesar salad or a Tossed Garden salad and some rice and you have a well great meal.
2. Warm the garlic and olive oil to blend the flavors. In a separate dish, combine the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip the chicken breasts in the olive oil and garlic mixture, then into the bread crumb mixture. Place in a shallow baking dish.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until no longer pink and juices run clear.
This will serve one person. Just double the ingredients if you're serving two people.

Normally I'm on the ball when it comes to updating my software. But I've been ignoring the prompt for FireFox 2 update.
Until today.
Today I have updated to FireFox 2 and I'm glad I did. I love the new tabbed browsing features. The integrated spell check is quite the bonus. There are quite a few updates and added features which will definitely come in handy in this new version. You can check out all the updated and added features here.
I have opened up the comments again. You no longer have to be a register blogger user. Anyone that would like to write a comment about the post in my blog. Feel free to do so.
I'll try and keep them open for awhile but if the spambots hit me again I'll have to restrict comment access.
Chicken is a big part of my weekly meal plans. It's high in protein, low in fat and gives you lots of energy. Normally I'll grill chicken breast for dinner and then brush it with a Sweet-Spicy Chili BBQ sauces. Then serve it with rice and vegetables to balance the meal. It is quite tasty but I've been looking for new chicken dish for dinner that has more range in flavor.
Allrecipes.com seems to have a recipe or two I want to try. I did a search on light feta cheese, spinach and chicken. Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts comes up in the results and it looks tasty.
Here is the recipe for Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts:
1. In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, spinach, feta cheese, and garlic until well blended. Set aside.
2. Carefully butterfly chicken breasts, making sure not to cut all the way through. Spoon spinach mixture into chicken breasts. Wrap each with a piece of bacon, and secure with a toothpick. Place in shallow baking dish. Cover.
3. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until chicken is no longer pink.
This will serve two people. Double the ingredients if you want to serve four.
This weekend I will attempt to make this dish. I'll be sure to share the outcome.
A new wireless standard is coming to your wireless devices.
WiMAX is going to compete heavily with Wi-Fi. Considering the fact that WiMAX has increased bandwidth and can broadcast signals for miles instead of just feet.
Be sure to check out WiMAX forum for more information.
Every time summer rolls around there are a lot of companies out there make you more aware of your body image. The media does a great job at making people thinking about their body image and how you might compare to some of these images.
I feel that as long as your comfortable with your body and you're healthy then you have no need to compare yourself to what the media considers as healthy or beautiful.
I'm linking to article because it reminder that if you want to improve your health, fitness and lifestyle that you're the only one that can do it. This might be one of the options you may consider when looking for methods to improve your lifestyle.
