Come Saturday morning I'm going to "weigh-in" to see if I'm improving.
Today has started out just as good as yesterday so I'm happy.

Last night worked out perfectly. I finished the evening under all of my max totals for cals, carbs, fats, and protein.

Well last night after I calculated up all of my calories, carbs, fat, and protein I felt a little better. I did go over my max number of calories for the day but I was under the max for everything else so I know I can do this.
This morning has been a good start. Hopefully lunch and dinner will be the same. I know as long as I use my will power, watch what I eat and how much I eat I should be able to pull this off. Once the weather starts to clear up a bit I'll actually be able to go outside and walk around. Since I spend so many hours in front of my computer I owe it to myself to start getting into better shape. Setting up a regular walking routine will be my next step. As many of you know I'm reading Microserfs by Douglas Coupland. The main character in the book, Dan, likes to talk about many different things that happen to him.
One of the things he talks about is the awkward relationship that he has with his body. After reading about the awkward relationship I realized that I'm starting to feel the same way about my own body. So I decided that I'm going to put an end to the awkward relationship that I have with my body and start living, eatting, and treating it better. In my efforts to do so I have joined SparkPeople. SparkPeople is an amazing site. It's helping me keep track of all the things I eat in a day, counts my calories, check that I'm getting all of my vitamins, checks the amount of protien I should be eatting and it is help with my goal of losing weight and getting in better shape. It's doing it all for FREE too! I would definitly recommend this site to anyone that has wants to start improving their health. dear facebook users,
if you hate this site so much...why are you on it? did someone hold a gun to your head and force you to register? if the answer is no then you must stop complaining, immediately. if there was a gun involved, my apologies and you should contact your local authorties. now back to those who signed up of their own free will. i'm annoyed that you became a member and the only thing you can say about it is how lame, stupid, annoying...etc it is. most of the time you admit that you knew it was lame but you signed up anyway and then pretend like you don't care if anyone adds you or whatever happens on the site. be honest, you totally care. you wouldn't have signed up if you didn't. i know it and you do too. you want more friends than everyone else and it makes you feel special when you log on and see someone has left you a message or commented on something you posted. grow up. please. i figure what makes facebook so lame is not the site itself, but the people on it. lovingly your's, cake "someone who got lots of invites but did not register" baker Find your favorite local blogger.
If you're like me then you read quite a few different blogs from all around the world but sometimes you like to read about something that is local to you.
Well the people over at newassignment.net have a great article about finding your local bloggers. Once I have finished all of the updates for this site I'll be sure to include an about page so you all know that much more about the two of us. Friday, February 16, 2007Thank you Fark.com
One of the forum users over at Fark linked to a picture of Bubbles on our site and now I have a ton of traffic coming from there.

impossible, unless you're a robot. Wednesday, February 14, 2007Tuesday, February 13, 2007Web 2.0 design
Well I've been reading up on the Web 2.0 trends and it seems like most of these 'trends' will be sticking around. Rich Internet applications are soon to become a dime a dozen but such is the life of all technology trends.
This mean that it's time for me to bite the bullet and finish the work I started on this site. Hopefully I'll be able to wow you all with a new look and feel as well as some new technology. I've been work on glass buttons. The new Web 2.0 design trend. They're pretty easy to do so I should have something fancy in no time. Since I do a lot of work in AJAX I'll be able to wipe up a RIA so you have some stuff to interact with. Sunday, February 11, 2007you say meow, i say weirdos...
i'm not a cat person. i think it's because when i was wee one, we had something that resembled a cat. in my memory he was more like a tiger. he was huge and very mean. he was an outdoor cat, that ate birds and mice. you couldn't pet him anywhere but on the little space between his ears. if you went down the back of his head, you risked losing a digit. his name was meatball and he was fun...when he was outside. he liked to chase stuff. i recall having some string toy thing for him to chase and since the string was long, i felt safe. my other childhood experiences with cats were also somewhat sketchy. randy lynn's cat was the worst. i swear that cat gave me some serious attitude and i felt somewhat inferior when i was at her house. her name was cuddles, oh the irony. that cat wasn't cuddly like sylvia's cats-who were awesome. snowball and snowflake were the shit. i think back and remember them fondly. the pull the tail trick was always a hit. the reason i started this mild rant is because some cat folks are just too kooky, even for me. i do have a few friends who are cat owners and are not insane but i do believe they are not the norm. i found this site and well...yeah...some people do weird things to cats in photos. for some reason it seems alot of people like putting their cats in pots, washers and dryers. i don't get it. i know dog people can be just as nutty but this just strikes me as odd. hmm, i just did a reread of this and man, i must be really bored at work today. hahaha. i'm gonna stop writing and hopefully some of these photos will make up for the boring randomness of this post.

come around...i'm over here justin!i usually don't like the epic, movie, over acting type videos but j timmy has done a fairly likeable job with his latest. it's my favorite track from the record and he licks his lips approximately four minutes in and it's yumm-o. he's third in line...as far as dreaminess goes. jim is second and well it's a given who number one is.
