a so-called review....

well....first, let's talk about how much of an idiot i am. i just wrote this massive post and then lost it. ugh...my own stupidity annoys me sometimes. anyway...i'll try my best to remember what i wrote. stupidstupidstupidstupid.

this past month has flown by....for the best reasons possible. three weddings, two different provinces, a new baby to meet. whirlwind is the only word i can think of right now...but give me a moment and hopefully i can write some other ones.

• the travelling back east curse has been broken!!!

our vacation back east was perfect, but far too short. i always feel bad when i leave. like i never visit enough and am somehow neglecting my parents. as much as they can drive me loonie, i love them more than they'll ever know and miss them. i know they understand that it's not easy to just pick up and go back whenever i get the urge....but i still feel bad that i can't. my mom took care of us, fed us til we felt like we would burst and i loved every minute of it. drinks were had, darts were played and asses were kicked....just like i had predicted. hehehe. a rematch will be planned i'm sure....anything for my dad and jon to save face.
my time at home was short but action packed...or people packed. i reunited with alot more people than i had expected. it was great and weird all the same. some are doing better than others and it makes me sad. i'm going to do my best to help them as much as i can. it's going to be difficult since i'm here in toronto...but if i didn't try, what kind of friend would i be?
apparently, thanks to my best accessory-jon, i was making all the girls jealous. this is something that i am not familiar with but i won't lie and say that it doesn't feel good. thanks to you babe for travelling so far with me and for being my super cute, proper hot ass date. i am one lucky girl to be with someone like you and if i don't tell you enough...i promise to change that. you are the best thing to come into my life in a very long time and i love you so much.

how did i get to be sooooo lucky?!?!?!?!

so now i'm here, enjoying the last few days of my vacation. back to work on friday and i'm not looking forward to it. the upside is more fun times are ahead and that makes me smile. this 'review' is fairly scattered brained but that's the best i can do. i do know that i've smiled lots and laughed even more over the past month.....and i wouldn't trade a second of it. thank you to everyone who had anything to do with that. maybe jon can fill in some of the blanks...he's the one who pays attention to detail, again....lucky for me.
if some thoughts pop back into my brain...i'll be sure to add them. until then....i want some grape drink baby! heehehehehehe.

The Stag.

Last night was Dan's stag.

I've been running around like a fool for the past couple of weeks getting his stag organized and everything went great.

Here's a brief review of the events.

I recieved three phone calls early in the afternoon and each call was from one of the guys that was support to join us for the stag but due to certain events they could not make it.
I wasn't to worried because everyone else that I called to come out to the stag show up at Dan's place. At 6pm the bus was parked outside and waiting. After we got organized most of us got on the bus and a couple others decided to drive. 35 mins later we arrived at Dave & Buster's.

Since I had called ahead there was a table available for the 15 guys that had arrived. After a great dinner and many, many. many drinks we decided it was time to play some pool.
After a few games of pool and a few weird pictures there was an hour left to play some games. I must have played at least 12 rounds of ski-ball and won a pot load of tickets. Everyone else seemed to have a great time play a couple games here and there.

Around 11pm we all piled back onto the bus and started on our way back to Dan's place. 35 mins later we arrived at Dan's door step and as soon as we got into the house we cracked open some more beers and drank till about 1am.

It was a great time. Dan enjoyed himself along with everyone else that attended.

Not your normal Saturday afternoon....?

Stretching. Push-ups. Sit-ups. Walking for 45 mins.

This isn't my normal Saturday afternoon. I don't know what it was but something came over me and I decided to do some.

i felt insane....

so as i write this...for the last seven minutes or so, a segment of oprah was airing in reverse and sped up just one notch so it resembles something like russian. they played a commercial, partially but then back to russian time with oprah and a rabbi. it was bizarre. someone screwed up hardcore @ ctv. we would have a meeting about something like this. hahaha. it's back to normal but they didn't go back to the missed segment. oprah and that rabbi in russian are pretty funny.

Time for some effort. Change is coming. Slowly.

Alright. I can admit that for the past three weeks, maybe even a month, I haven't been putting much effort into the projects that I had started.

There sitting on that proverbial shelf mocking me.

So this is it. Today is the day that will change. I'm going to have everything working like a well oiled machine.

Trailer Park Boys.

As some of you may or may not know I like Trailer Park Boys.
I find the show very entertaining and I can relate to a lot of the characters.


The new season of Trailer Park Boys is currently running on Showcase. It's been damn funny so far. What I'm really excited about is the Trailer Park Boys movie. It's coming out this month and I can't wait to see it. The boys also have a blog up so you should check that out.

Since the show is Canadian everyone should go out and support it!
